Record 18 teams for men's field

The 2025 edition of the Sawatzky Cup will feature a record 18 men's teams.
The teams will be split into two groups (Blue and Red)  of nine, with nine 11-game round robin matches (*one team will have a bye each round) leading to knockout semifinals.
The winners of each group play the runners-up in the opposite group, with the winners of those contesting the Cup grand final.
The teams and players have come from far and wide - Mandurah, Sorrento, North Shore, Royal Kings Park, Ocean Ridge, Alexander Park, Higgins Park, Mt Lawley, Floreat Park and even as far away as Dunsborough, some 250km south of Perth.
Who will lift the trophy? Time will tell!
